Physiotherapy
I am a chartered physiotherapist with over 20 years experience treating a variety of musculoskeletal conditions.
Further to my BSc in Physiotherapy (Cardiff University), I completed a post graduate diploma in neuro-musculoskeletal healthcare (keele university) in 2011.
I gained a diploma in Equine sports massage in early 2022 and started my Masters at Hartpury Autumn 2022 in Veterinary Physiotherapy and am now qualified and registered with ACPAT and RAMP.
Over my career I’ve developed expertise and skills in multiple areas of physiotherapy, and work closely with consultants on a day to day basis.
I offer a wide range of treatments specialising in, but not limited to:
-
Pilates
-
Manual therapy
-
Rehabilitation following sports injuries and surgery
-
Shoulder injuries
-
Chronic pain
-
Low back pain
-
Acupuncture
-

I currently offer group Pilates locally tailored to equestrians, 1:1 Pilates or small group Pilates in your own home, home physiotherapy treatments and rider assessments and treatments.
As we all know a rider has a huge influence on how a horse moves and this is very much an area where I can help with assessment and targeted treatment for you and your horse.
I am able to come out and assess you at your premises, watch you ride if necessary and devise a thorough treatment plan to improve posture and any imbalances.
Please get in touch if you would like any further details on what I can offer and how Physiotherapy may benefit you and your horse!
